Welcome to my website. My name is Charlotte Dixon and I'm an author of children's picture books. My passion for reading and writing began at an early age. Trips to the local library introduced me to pure magic--Books! My imagination took flight. Stories and pictures appeared on all available paper, napkins, and the wall. I carried the creative bug with me into adulthood. When I wrapped up my adult day job, I jumped back into studying picture book writing with Children's Book Academy (formerly Picture Book Academy), Courage to Create, Storyteller Academy, Julie Hedland's 12x12 Picture Book Challenge, and SCBWI.
