I recently attended Jodell Sadler's pacing course. She gives excellent tools to make your manuscript sing with words, rhyme, and pacing skills. She gives four critiques within the course so you walk away with a strong footing for your story. Included in the course are examples of what books are succeeding in the publishing world. These are fine examples to use as mentor texts. Considerate and attentive to your needs, she helps guide you with the expertise of a writer, artist and agent. You can check out the course here:
Jodell Sadler launches Kidlit College with webinars and workshops to help writers of all book genres. Illustrators have been included. Don't miss out on these events which answer your questions and address those issues which plague writers and illustrators as they work their way through the business of writing and illustrating. The challenge has folks representing writing and illustration-something for everyone. The challenge is to write a picture book a month for 12 months. Are you up for it? At the end of each month, if you have written or revised an ms, you can enter a rafflecopter for that months free prize. Head on over to 12x12challenge.com to get more details. Hope to see you there!
